About the Pirrello Foundation

The Pirrello Foundation was formed in 2004 by Jamie and Debra Pirrello. The foundation’s mission is to support our nation’s youth and young adults through athletic, academic and other charitable programs based on a strong belief that academic and athletic excellence goes hand in hand.

“Both of my parents dedicated their lives to children and young adults as teachers and coaches. My mom taught third grade for over twenty years and my dad taught high school for many years and ended his long and distinguished career as the principal of our high school. In 1971, my dad was named New Jersey’s Teacher of the Year. For years he coached high school baseball, high school football and numerous youth sports teams. Academic and athletic excellence and giving back to our community have a rich tradition in our family.”
